Safety processing units
The AOS series processing units allow safety sensors with an OSE signal to be used even with older control units – developed to ISO 13849-1.
Application
All safety sensors with an OSE signal can be connected to the safety processing units, and in some cases 8k2 resistive safety edges as well. The processing unit evaluates the signal and provides a switching function via potential-free contacts.
A typical application is retrofitting older door systems whose control units have no direct interface for the OSE safety signal. The AOS series is developed to ISO 13849-1 “Safety-related parts of control systems”.
